V. A. Gordeev Department of mine surveying USMU 100 years – р. 9

The article provides a historical background on the creation and development of the Ural Mine Surveying School – the Department of Mine Surveying at the Ural State Mining University – over 100 years of its existence. The founder and first head of the department was P.K. Sobolevsky. Among the graduates of the department are D. N. Ogloblin, G.I. Vilesov, P. A. Ryzhov, A. A. Igoshin, P. P. Bastan, G. L. Fisenko, I. M. Petukhov and many other famous scientists and industrialists. The department is the basic one for the training of mine surveyors in the Urals and Western Siberia.

V. I. Gleizer The history of the development of domestic surveying gyroscopy. Part 8 – р. 15

The historical heritage in the field of surveying gyroscopic measuring instruments is considered. The analysis of the process of creating domestic surveying explosion-proof gyrocompasses with torsion suspension pendulum sensing element is given. The process of improving the design of surveying gyroscopic devices is reflected (period 70–80 years).

Keywords: gyroscopic orientation; surveying gyrocompasses; improvement of structures; gyromotor with a mirror on the rotor; angle measuring device; multi-faceted prism; gyrobussol.

A. V. Zubov, D. A. Bykasov Application of the second-order newton method for solving mine surveying and geodesic problems – р. 22

The theoretical component of the second-order Newton method, its main advantages and disadvantages are considered. Section parameters are calculated. A comparative analysis of the Newton method and the conjugate gradient method is performed. The solution algorithm was implemented in the Visual Basic for Applications software environment. The efficiency of the Newton method in different versions of the source data is analyzed.

Keywords: nonlinear programming; optimization; Newton’s method; approximation; section; measuring a cylindrical object.

A. E. Kirkov On the issues of mathematical processing of reference and survey networks developed by combined linear-angular serifs – р.27

The article is devoted to the description of a new approach to calculating the coordinates of points in networks constructed using a combination of different types of serifs. The analysis of a specific example shows all the advantages of the proposed approach in comparison with the classical analytical solutions of various types of linear-angular serifs.

Keywords: linear-angular serifs; equalization of linear-angular networks; coordinate transformations.

E. N. Tolchkova On the variability of the contours of ore bodies – р. 32

In this paper, the review and analysis of indicators of variations in the contours of ore bodies is performed. Models of deterministic indicators of variability, indicators for estimating the error of delineation of ore bodies, as well as models of variations in the contours of ore bodies in the field of the Deposit are considered. It is shown that these variations should represent a function of distance and have the ability to delineate and estimate the error. These properties are satisfied by the indicator variogram and elements of the stochastic matrix of transition probabilities, based on the kriging procedure. The use of these functions at the Talgan copper-kolchedannoe Deposit made it possible to make a statistically optimal estimation of the contours of ore bodies and the estimation of the delineation error.

Keywords: variability of contours of ore bodies; delineation of ore bodies; delineation error; indicator variogram; stochastic matrix of transition probabilities; transition probability function; kriging.

MINE GEOMECHANICS

D. K. Kuzmin Assessment of the stress state of the subsurface in the developed oil and gas fields – р. 37

The existing approaches to the assessment of local stresses in the developed hydrocarbon deposits are considered. An analytical model is presented that allows calculating vertical, horizontal, and tangent stresses. Using the proposed model, local stress distributions for the fault and reservoirs of specific deposits are constructed.

Keywords: local stresses; fault zone; deformable reservoir; relative deformations; geodynamic hazard; hydrocarbon deposits.

ISSUES OF GEOTECHNOLOGY

V. A. Yukov The impact of mineral resources changes on the its exploiting intensity – р. 44

The current state of the mineral resource base of five mineral resources is given. The new deposits put into operation in the near future is named. Its put into operation will determine the upcoming changes. Natural indicator – the ratio of explored and developed deposits shows the level of use of the total resource potential of the mineral resource. The changes of this indicator are determined for three periods: past, present and near future. The general changes that have occurred to the explored base of the resources reviewed have been identified and systematized. In particular, the prevalence of porphyry copper ore reserves, the registration and starting of technogenic deposits exploitation, etc.

Keywords: explored, developed and put into operation in the near future deposits; natural indicator; changes of the mineral resource base.

D. M. Mutushev Optimization of mathematical methods for investment processes management in underground construction – р. 54

The issues of improving the quality of forecasting and management of technical and economic characteristics of transport facilities in the light of increased implementation of digital technologies are considered. Factors that influence changes in various dynamic indicators are investigated. It is proposed to focus on the analysis of individual local sections of the time series that reflect certain statistical observations, such as passenger traffic. The original principle of calculating the expected duration of the directional movement of an indicator as a solution to a geometric problem is described as a result of research on statistical material. It also describes an algorithm for collecting and processing quantitative information necessary for the reliability of statistical estimates. The proposed approaches, principles, methods and techniques are characterized by universality and can be applied in various sectors of the economy: industry, construction, transport, etc.

Keywords: forecasting; time series; random walk; underground construction objects.
