The editorial Board of the magazine "Mine Surveying Bulletin" issues of media scientific-technical and production magazine "Mine Surveying Bulletin" (hereinafter – the magazine).

The aim of the magazine is to create and develop an information space for specialists associated with activities in exploration, extraction and processing of solid, liquid and gaseous minerals, construction and exploitation of underground facilities for various purposes.

Editorial activity of the magazine is based on traditional ethical principles of scientific periodicals and the international practice of securing copyright by the Committee on publication ethics (Committee on Publication Ethics – COPE) for editors, reviewers and authors, as well as the provisions of Chapter 70 «Copyright» of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation (№ 230-FZ).

Editorial activities are aimed at informing a wide range of scientific and production teams (target audience – teaching the General public, professionals research, design, educational institutions, ministries and departments, enterprises and organizations of subsoil) on new scientific developments and technical solutions in the field of mining and surveying, law enforcement practice in the sphere of subsoil use.

In its work, the editorial Board is guided by principles of objectivity, impartiality and professionalism, ensuring reliability, scientific validity and relevance of published work. The editorial office is responsible for the quality of published scientific articles, and also supports initiatives aimed at reducing the number of incorrect actions on the part of authors and breaches of ethics.

The editorial Board initiates and encourages scientific discussion, reasoned debate and exchange of research results in the publication, provides freedom of expression (within current legislation and ethical standards). Ensures conformity of the published materials academic standards and internationally accepted ethical standards for scientific publications.

In the formation of the thematic profile of the magazine, under the editorial policy of establishing thematic content and engaging materials on the pages of the magazine, the editorial Board retains the research and methodological approach, combined with a strict selection of highly qualified (both formal and content) texts.

Editors should strive to meet the needs of readers and authors on the high quality of published materials, to constantly improve the contents of the log, to prevent a conflict of interest between the business needs and principles of intellectual activity, to be ready to publish in case of need corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies.

Editors should make the decision about publication of articles based on their quality and relevance to the scope of the magazine, regardless of the economic or political aspects.

The relationship of editors to founders and publishers were complex, but should be based on the principle of editorial independence.

Logging can provide immediate (full or selective) open access to its content on the principle that free and open access to research results helps to increase the global exchange of knowledge. All the content in open access, users can read, download, copy, distribute, print or refer to the full text of the articles in the magazine without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. First and foremost, open access can be transferred archived articles at the expiration of three years from the date of publication.

The procedure for receiving, assessing and publishing scientific papers is open:

- to the magazine for publication are accepted only original scientific-technical articles or surveys, being not published anywhere before;

- all copying, reprinting and reproduction of published in the magazine of materials allowed only with the written permission of the publisher;

- in the magazine are not accepted for publication articles of a political nature that contain biased and incorrect evaluations of other scientific works and other specialists, the materials, the content of which is prohibited by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

To identify the unscrupulous and duplicate publication editors, should at pre-press stage. In case of detection of the article elements by copying from other scientific papers (plagiarism) without proper links or facts you publish the same article in different magazines, the editorial Board reserves the right in future to prevent consideration of the article of these authors. If plagiarism or duplication of publications discovered during peer-review or edit the article, it should be rejected.

If plagiarism or duplication facts of publications, as well as placing the article of false information discovered after the release of the magazine, the editorial Board reserves the right to publish a clarification for readers in the next issue of the magazine, as well as to properly tag the page with this article in the electronic version on the magazine website, or not to exclude this article from the electronic version (with the notice of readers and international databases).

Advertising publication in the magazine should correspond to the scope of the magazine.

Direct contacts between the editors and the authors are the main and most preferred method of communication in the process of reviewing and preparing articles for publication and for resolving possible contentious issues.

In the analysis of complaints and disputes between the editors and the authors should follow the recommendations of the international Committee of publication ethics (COPE) http://publicationethics.org/resources/flowcharts.
